Saturday with the Rampant Lions, sorry, Lion Rampant...

Well, I got up at about 4.30 Saturday morning (!) to go to Castle Rising up in north Norfolk, near Kings Lynn. Didn't really need to get up that early, but I woke up then, and decided to have a bath rather than go back to bed for another hour and a half. Dragged Carl out of bed about six, which proved rather amusing as he and Chris hadn't got back until after midnight... Chris was staying over as a favour - I'd forgotten I'd arranged to have the electricity and gas meters checked in the morning.

We spent the day at Castle Rising castle watching Lion Rampant, and then went to Insanitorium in the evening.

Good day if exhausting - not surprised I did a 12 hour sleep to this afternoon!

On a different note, I managed to get 1602 off Carl this morning and read it with breakfast - excellent and everything as good as I had hoped. Very Neil, yet still firmly within the Marvel view and character-set.
Read The Cement Garden and the first Promethea book yesterday, both of which left me with more questions than answers... Must reserve the next Promethea from the library.

Off to the Castle for a quick drink and gossip with his lordship (Carl) and then sleep again I think...
