An opportunity has arisen for a Web Support Officer based in a large multi-site academic library service. The post will focus on supporting the Library Services Web Editor in both project and service work as well as other aspects of the work of the IT Services Group within Library Services. The successful applicant will have at least 5 GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent, demonstrable experience of web authoring including Javascript or another scripting language, familiarity with design and querying of MS Access and/or other relational databases and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of working/studying in a UK higher education institution would be an advantage.
Salary within the CRA5 range £21,380-£24,443 per annum inclusive of London Weighting. In addition, Library Services offers a generous leave allowance and a flexitime system.
Hours of work are 25 per week (ideally working 9.00 am – 3.00 pm, Monday to Friday). The starting salary is £20,867 pro rata per annum inclusive of London Weighting. In addition, Library Services offers a generous leave allowance and a flexitime system.
