From the CBC: Beaver-tailed mammals swam in dinosaur age, fossil hunters say.
A furry, aquatic mammal with the flat tail of a beaver and teeth for eating fish swam during the time of the dinosaurs, palaeontologists say.
It was thought that only small, shrew-like mammals roamed the Earth with the giant reptiles, but the new discovery challenges that view. [continue]
