The AV Archivist is part of the Audiovisual Resources team, based in the Information Resources Program. This small, busy, team provides audiovisual services to Amnesty International Sections worldwide and staff of the International Secretariat.
As AV Archivist you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the archive of audiovisual human rights materials, and providing onsite and remote access for Amnesty International users worldwide.
You will have a professional qualification in Archives, Librarianship and Information Science, or similar, as well as experience in physical and digital archiving of audiovisual Materials (particularly still photographs and video), preservation and storage of media, digitization and intellectual control of archives.
