Neanderthals may have been actively killed off by modern humans, scientists believe, after a skeleton buried in an Iraqi cave was found to have a man-made spear wound.

My questions/observations on this:
1. We know who was likely to have made the weapon, but not who posessed it at the time it was thrown.
2. At what distance was the projectile thrown - i.e. accident or murder.
3. Could this be evidence of Neanderthal hominids trading and using Homo Sapiens' tools?
